Rejection for an actor is a common occurrence, no matter how talented or well-known they are. It never fails to find them. Rejection is a frequent part of their creative journey.
Rejection is something to overcome within.
If an actor can master that and harden their skin to it, they can always find a way to persevere. Because they know that their dream is more significant than any temporary rejection. Their actor colleagues are experiencing the same rejection. It is not a reflection of them, just an inevitable part of the industry – there are more actors than there are roles. So, the trick, is to use those rejections in a positive way.
